← PrivateCloud rclone

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 12, 2026

Purpose

PrivateCloud rclone is a personal, single-user integration. It uses Google's OAuth service so its owner can access an encrypted folder in the owner's Google Drive account through the open-source rclone client.

Data access and use

The integration requests Google Drive access only after the owner grants consent. Access is used solely to list, upload, download, rename, and remove the owner's files as explicitly requested through rclone.

Storage and encryption

OAuth credentials and encryption keys are stored locally on the owner's devices. Files placed in the PrivateCloud area are encrypted on the owner's device before they are uploaded to Google Drive. This website does not receive or store Google Drive files, OAuth tokens, encryption keys, or account credentials.

Sharing and sale

Google user data is not sold, advertised against, transferred, or shared with third parties. The integration is not available to the public and has no other users.

Website data

This informational website has no accounts, forms, cookies, advertising, or analytics. Standard security and delivery logs may be processed by the hosting provider for abuse prevention and service operation.

Retention and deletion

The owner controls all files and may delete them at any time. OAuth access can be revoked from the Google Account third-party connections page. Removing the local rclone configuration removes the locally stored authorization and encryption configuration.
